Dear SJ String Players,

Happy New Year! I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday and
youre not dreading next weeks return to school too much.

This Easter, Symphonia Jubilate will be performing Handels Messiah
along with a 60+ voice choir. Only a small group of string players (20
total) will parHcipate in this concert and you have been selected as one
of them. This is a very exciHng opportunity to perform one of the
masterworks of Baroque music and we hope that you will be able to
take part. Before accepHng your place in the group, please ensure that
you can make the following rehearsals:

Thursday 11th February 5-7pm at Concord West Public School
Saturday 20th February 4-6pm at Marie Bashir Public School
Thursday 25th February 5-7pm at Concord West Public School
Thursday 3rd March 5-7pm at Concord West Public School
Saturday 19th March 3.30-5.30pm at Epping BapHst Church (dress
rehearsal with choir)

Please note these are in addiHon to the 3 full SJ Primo rehearsals for
Term 1. If you commit to the performance you must acend all
rehearsals and the performance on Friday 25th March 12.45 - 5pm.
Please reply to conrm your place in the ensemble by Sunday 31st
January. If we havent heard back from you by then we will oer your
place to another student. I will email pracHce parts next week.
