Primary Groups!!

Mega’s Primary Group continued discussing clouds. She

brought some more photographs of clouds to share with
Zen, Danny, Salma and Kieran. The children created
“Cloud Finders”, which is a pinwheel
which helps people determine which
kind of cloud they are looking at. They
each drew the different clouds and
Mega assisted them in writing out the
words. Mega invited her group to
continue working on their pinwheels
during
tomorrow’s
Weather Interest
Group.

Angie’s Group continued discussing “feelings”. Today she read them

Joshua’s “sad face” the book, The Way I Feel by Janan Cain. Risha seemed to enjoy this
book, replicating some of the faces from afar.

After the book, the children were offered paper and pastels to draw
some feelings. Joshua stated, “I going to draw happy!” while Nikola
drew, “a silly face”. Annli drew a silly face and a mad face. Kasper
spoke about the feelings but was not interested in drawing them
during this time.

Today, Pat’s Group met up with the Yuzu

children to work on a Gardening Project.
Although the two classrooms were sitting
on opposite sides of the table, they
worked together to get Sunflower seeds
to grow.

Later the group (Ari, Serena, Luca and

Milind) walked around the school,
scattering Wildflower seeds on the
Meadow and other common areas.
