Dear professor Guzmn:
The East Staff of the XYZ Company is preparing a dinner for the West Staff next Saturday, March
12, 2016 at the East Ball Center. This activity will start at 6:00 p.m. and it will end at 9:00
p.m. The dress-code is formal and you can bring up to one person with you to this activity. The
cost per person is $20.00 and it includes the buffet and parking.
For the buffet, we will be having different types of salads, chicken, rice, soups and a beverage of
your choosing. We hired a pianist that will be playing classical music for us throughout the
evening.
The total cost for this activity is $1,650.00. This includes the reservation at the East Ball Center,
the ten employees from the East Staff and the person that is going to accompany each of them,
15 employees from the West Staff and the music.
