Gym Rules & Policies

2015-2016
1. Entering the Gym
A. WALK in
B. Set your backpack against the wall by the bathrooms
C. Go to your roll call spot
2. Roll Call
A. NO talking
B. Hands to yourself
C. Dont get up without permission
D. Will be counted tardy if youre not in YOUR spot
3. Warm-up
A. Stretches
B. NO Talking
C. Hands to yourself
4. Equipment/Equipment Room
A. Designated student (1-2 students) in equipment room
B. Put equipment back where you got it
C. Share the equipment, it is not yours!
5. Respecting others/teachers
A. Do not touch others stuf
B. Disrespect will be handled by discipline (running, push-ups, sit-ups, etc.)
C. Profanity is NOT allowed, will be handled by discipline (running, push-ups,
sit-ups, etc.)
D. No talking back (yes maam and yes sir)
6. Food and Drinks (this includes candy of any kind)
A. Not allowed in the gym, must be in a backpack or put away
B. Will not put it in my office/fridge
C. If we see it, it will be thrown in the trash
D. Water bottles are ok
E. NO gum
7. Bathrooms
A. Must have restroom pass
B. Go in 6th grade hallway
C. Go before class
8. Gym Attire
A. Comfortable Shoes (You will not sit out due to your shoes)
B. Shorts must be worn under dresses
C. Dress Code applies
9. Electronics
A. Will be taken up and turned into the office
B. Parents will have to come pick them up at the end of the day (no
exceptions)

Doctors Notes

A. 3 days written parent note, 4th day has to be a doctors note (or points will
be deducted)

Leaving Class
A. Counselor must have pass filled out by a coach, one person at a time.
B. Teacher- must have a written note by the teacher, and you must check-in
or you will be counted absent.
C. Nurse- you must have a nurses pass filled out by a coach to go to the
nurse.
Your grade will be afected if you dont participate.
Dont come up to my desk unless you have raised your hand and I have called on
you.
Going into the coaches office it is an automatic write up.
Do not sit in the coaches chairs.
No horseplay!
If you hear the whistle, stop what youre doing and freeze!
