National Food and Beverage Intern (Co-op), Entertainment Cruises

WORK IS MORE FUN ON THE WATER!

This position will run from April 2010 until March 2011.
From April until October you will work 40 hours a week, from November until March you will work 20 hours a week

Entertainment Cruises and its subsidiaries, Spirit Cruises, LLP, Premier Yachts, Inc. (Odyssey), Mystic Blue, and Seadog provides
high-energy, 2-3 hour boat excursions in America's most exciting port cities – Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Washington DC,
Boston, Baltimore, and Norfolk, VA. Guests come aboard to celebrate the special moments of their life. Our National Food &
Beverage Assistant assists the department to ensure consistently high levels of quality, service and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

•Interact with internal and external customers in a friendly and helpful manner consistent with Our Service System.
•Assist in monitoring and maintaining the Quality and Sanitation Program.
•Assist in program compliance monitoring that are consistent with company objectives
•Prepare various analyses as required to maximize efficiency.

•Must have a high school diploma or equivalency and working towards a college degree
•Must have a minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience or hospitality education
•Self starter and able to work with minimum direction
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Power Point and Excel)

This position is part of DePaul University's innovative UNDERGRADUATE Cooperative Education program.  Commitment to
working with this employer throughout the entire length of the internship, while enrolled at DePaul full-time is required.
