APPLE CRUMBLE MISS DAHL

10 Ingredients

Serves 2

4 large cox apples, peeled and cut into chunks

4 pear, peeled and quartered

125g unsalted butter

125g dark brown soft

zest and juice of 1 orange

For the crumble topping

100g spelt flour

100g organic oats

100g butter cold and cut into chunks

100g demerera sugar

Custard, cream or vanilla ice-cream to serve

Heat the apples, pears, butter, sugar and orange zest and juice until tender but not too soft
Mix together the flour, oats, butter and sugar to make the crumble topping
Put the apples into a dish that can go into the oven, top with the crumble mixture and bake for
around 25 30 minutes at 180C/160 Fan
Serve with custard, cream or vanilla ice-cream
