To Whom It May Concern
Lisa Dailey has been with us at Rex Putnam High School for one year. We were fortunate to have Lisa
accept our math position last spring and knew she would be looking for an administrative job in the
near future
We are grateful for this year with Lisa, She is a thoughtful, kind math teacher. She understands and
uses best practices in her classroom, Students are expected to share their thinking and talk with each
other about mathematics. As we had a new curriculum this year, it was very helpful to have Lisa as a
member of the math team. She is a collaborator who is also willing to ask difficult questions. We
currently have a system where Algebra repeaters are in a separate class. Lisa has been asking the
department about the rationale and results from this system. ‘These are difficult conversations and Lisa
is coming to the table with the question and the goodwill that helps everyone speak and listen to each
other,
Lisa loves to learn. She has been involved in every opportunity possible this year. She has joined an
Equity Cadre, This is a chance for about three teachers from each building to delve into what equity
‘means in terms of instruction. Each teacher comes up with a project they take on and present to the
district group. Lisa has been excited about this work from the beginning, She has been to additional
SIOP training, and was involved in Taking It Up over the summer. She is constantly seeking ways to
learn and grow in her profession
Lisa's desire to better things for students, her ability to collaborate and have difficult conversations, her
work ethic, her positive personality and her amazing energy will make her a good administrator. We
will be sorry to lose her but have benefited from our time with her.
Sincerejy.
