According to a report by G. John Richards, Prosecuting Attorney of Lincoln County, the

following cases were heard in the Circuit Court of Lincoln County before the Honorable Ben
Burkemper on April 13, 2010.

STATE OF MISSOURI vs. ALVIN C. BUECHEL

Alvin C. Buechel, age 37, of Winfield, MO, entered a plea of guilty to 2 counts of the class D
felony Non Support and 2 counts of the class A misdemeanor Non Support probation violation.
The State argued for 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on the felony charge and
1 year concurrent in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the probation violation. The
defendant argued for probation. The defendant received a sentence of 2 years in the Missouri
Department of Corrections on the felony charge and 1 year in the Lincoln County Jail on the
probation violation to run consecutive. This sentence arose out of the events of March 2008,
February 2009, April 2009, May 2009, June 2009, July 2009, and August 2009, in the County of
Lincoln, State of Missouri, in which the defendant knowingly failed to provide, without good
cause, adequate support for the 2 minor children for whom defendant was legally obligated to
provide support.
