Oakbrook Park Parking Addition This project will consist of parking lot and sidewalk improvements at Oakbrook Park located at the crossroad of Hickory St. & Woodstream Dr. in Frisco, Texas. The contractor will be responsible for, but not limited to the removal of specified items on site, inlet/silt/tree protection fencing, final grading, laying pavement and installing related materials for parking lot and sidewalks as specified on plans, barrier free ramp installation, existing sign relocation and the extension of the existing fence, landscape bed preparation and planting, laying of sod, installation of irrigation system, while providing approved traffic control during the duration of work. The estimated project budget is $114,346.50 Work will begin after the lowest responsive bidder is selected, and the project has been awarded through City Council a Purchase Approval and Order has been issued. It is anticipated that construction will begin no later than 60 days from the bid opening. The contractor shall have 60 calendar days to complete the project, from Notice to Proceed. Bids must be accompanied by a cashiers check or certified check upon a national bank, or a bid bond from a reliable surety company in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a performance bond and a payment bond within (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. A performance bond will be required for all contracts over $100,000.00 and a payment bond will be required for all contracts over $50,000.00. A separate maintenance bond may be required for all contracts less than $100,000.00. Otherwise, it is included with the performance bond. Payment bonds are to be for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. A five percent (5%) BID BOND or CASHIERS CHECK must be submitted with the bid package. Bid documents may be examined only at no cost at the Frisco Parks Department, 6726 Walnut Street, Frisco, Texas 75033 from Monday to Friday 8AM CST to 4:30PM CST.
