She will return to my fourth grade classroom at Blue Mountain Elementary East in the spring semester of 2016 to complete her student teaching experience. Micah has had a very diverse group of students during her student teaching experience. Even though her placement with me is a regular education classroom, | coteach Math as well as ELA. Therefore, Micah was able to experience firsthand how regular and special education teachers work together for the benefit of the students. Micah works very well with other teachers, She is flexible yet knowledgeable herself and offers meaningful ideas to our team. In Micah’s time here at Blue Mountain she has been extremely resourceful in remediating struggling students. During homeroom Micah has aided our students in using technology to increase Math skills. As a fourth grade Math teacher, | have seen great improvement in the students that Micah has focused on. During PSSA prep time, Micah has learned to run our Read Naturally program. She has helped to increase reading fluency in many of our fourth grade students, Micah has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children.
