Institute of transformative biomolecules(ITbM), Nagoya University is committed to develop
transformative biomolecules which will bring change to biological science and technology. My PhD thesis is about exploring novel biomolecules from the marine microorganisms and testing of them for pharmaceutical applications. Though my thesis is based on microbiology, the extraction of biomolecules and identifying them using chemical characterization fascinated me and channeled my interest towards them. As ITbM is totally committed to research on biomolecules, I am delighted to see the advertisement of call for post doctoral research positions. I know that my basic is microbiology but not animal or plant biology. But I have done my masters in Biotechnology which honed my skills in molecular biology and cell biology. In addition, my PhD thesis on novel biomolecules would be helpful for the study in ITbM. I am also very much looking forward on implementing my techniques on a different field (like animal or plant biology) which lead to an impressive as well as fruitful research. Beyond these, it would be prestigious to work in ITbM, a part of World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI), Japan. Research in such an esteemed environment would whet my concern towards learning novel techniques and enforcing them on the study. I hope my research interest would cope up with your expectation and I am sure I would enjoy complete involvement, painstaking attention to detail and the exciting possibility of being a part of a pioneering research group
