Industry Highlights:
Workforce demand within the hospitality sector in India is projected at: 28 lakhs for restaurants,
41 lakhs for hotels, 3 lakhs for the travel trade segment, and 27 lakhs for the tourism sector, by
the year 2022. Some of the key employment opportunities in hotels and restaurants include
functions of food and beverage services, front office staff, housekeeping etc.
Course Highlights:
The course shall equip the successful trainees with requisite skills and knowledge to work
efficiently and courteously while welcoming guests at hotels and restaurant. On completion of
the course, the successful trainees shall be proficient with planning of availability of rooms,
recording guest details for registration, allotting rooms, dealing with payments, resolving quest
service issues and maintaining standard etiquette and hospitable conduct.

150 hours of internship with leading hotels and restaurants in the hospitality industry
Assessment and Certificatio!
Continuous assessment is carried out by the Training Service Provider and final assessment
by an independent assessor, assigned by the Sector Skill Council. Certificate will be issued by
Government of Kerala and the Sector Skill Council, to successful trainees. 80% attendance is
mandatory for the final assessment, certification & internship,
Eligibility:
‘Students enrolled in ‘st year of Bachelor's Degree course in any stream;
‘Students who have successfully completed ‘Aptitude Test’ and ‘Personal Interview’

150 hours (excluding internship schedule); Fees : Rs. 7,500/-ens
