    Pure & cooled water has vital role in human life especially in summer season. For the same
    purpose this office intends to procure a water dispenser for Resident Engineer office as
    problems are being faced by staff members in this regard so the purchase of water dispenser is
    imperative. Estimated cost of the Water dispenser as per prevailing market rate is as under
    please.

    Budget provision exists in the Budget Estimate for the financial year 2014-15 under
    A/C Head 632540.

    Vide Section-VI, Clause-B (iv) of WAPDA Book of Financial Powers amended up to January
    2003, Worthy Superintending Engineer WAPDA Mangla is competent to accord approval for
    Local purchase of stores, Instruments and Tools and Plants without inviting quotations
    required for immediate incorporation in works to meet an emergency up to monitory limit of
    Rs. 20000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only) at a time.

    It is therefore requested that approval to purchase the material as per Para-1 above amounting
    to Rs 18000/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand Only) from local market without inviting
    quotations may please be accorded. Issuance of temporary advance in the name of undersigned
    and approval of purchase committee comprising the following officers is also requested.
