    o Is the mover licensed with your state's Department of Transportation (DOT)?
    o What kind of estimate does the mover offer?
    o Have a lot of complaints been levied against the mover? Contact the Better Business
    Bureau and your state's DOT.
    o Was the mover recommended to you?
    o Is the mover a member of a local trade association? One trade organization to contact
    is the American Movers Conference.
