Myna Audio Editor Instructions


Login information at http://aviary.com/tools/audio-editor

If possible, everyone will record under the same login


Login: BHSspan3
Password: oleoleole

Record your voice!


Using the Record button in the lower right of the editing toolbar, record a raw file. You’ll be able to edit
this version later.
Record > Start Recording > Stop Recording > Import to Project > Name your project, save
Save projects with names and block

Now look for your recorded voice file in the imported files index
Drag your files into your appropriate tracks

Edit / Trim your recorded voice to precisely 30 or 60 seconds


It is time to edit your voice work. Basic functions that will go a long way include:
Select ■ Choose portions of your recording to delete

Add unique sounds from library


Add layers from the library by dragging into tracks. Control volume for each layer
to temper voice and sound. Be careful not to drown out your voice with library additions.
When you are done tweaking, Save you work and create a Mixdown.

Save, Finish & Post


Save your project and click on Mixdown.

Download your project file in .mp3 format


and save somewhere easy to access (desktop)

Post your file in the Turn-in function of Courseweb in Chapter 4 called ¡Visita Madrid!
