Ideas for your educational

context

How could you implement this

idea?

What outcomes would you be

hoping for (student/teachers)?

How could you evaluate the

outcomes?

Conducting a risk assessment

as part of the project

This will be a requirement for

all of the projects being
conducted in the risk and
systems area. While this is
easy for and plant based work
it is still a requirement for
office/desk based work as
students.

Students understand that risk

is a part of everything that
they do.
Documentation of the work as
a technical report

Technical report

What makes a good Risk

Assessment

Students need to select the

right type of risk assessment
for the situation that they are
assessing. They will also need
to justify why they have
chosen that type of study and
how they conducted it to get
the best possible outcomes.

Analytical analysis and sound

reasoning will be required.
Students may also need to
demonstrate facilitation skills
as the leader of the study

Analytical writing describing

the methodology used in the
risk assessment.
