Continuing professional development module focuses on implementing risk assessments for student projects. Students would understand that risk assessment is required for all work, even desk-based tasks. The module would teach students to select the appropriate type of risk assessment for different situations and justify their choice. The goal is for students to demonstrate analytical reasoning and strong justification in their risk assessment documentation and analysis. Outcomes would be evaluated based on the quality of students' analytical writing describing the risk assessment methodology.

Conducting a risk assessment
as part of the project
This will be a requirement for
all of the projects being conducted in the risk and systems area. While this is easy for and plant based work it is still a requirement for office/desk based work as students.

What makes a good Risk
Assessment
Students need to select the
right type of risk assessment for the situation that they are assessing. They will also need to justify why they have chosen that type of study and how they conducted it to get the best possible outcomes.
Analytical analysis and sound
