    opennessandaccessibility.WerecognizethepastyearatLoyolahasnotalwaysofferedstudents
    theabilitytoengageinpositivedialoguewithfacultyandadministration.Weseethislackof
    connectionasahindrancetonotjustchangebutalsounifiedempowerment.Therefore,we
    proposeengagingandpromotingmoreconversationsacrosscampusbetweenstudents,faculty,
    workers,administrators,andRogersParkcommunitymembersalike.Empoweredstudentsarean
    empoweredcommunity.

    Continuouslycreatingandrecognizingspacesfor

    voicesoncampus.
    Livingoutourunderstandingofcareforcommunityinawaywhich
    embraces,engagesandrespectsourRogersParkneighborhood.
    Findingcreativeanddiversewaysforstudentstoinvolvethemselves
    withinthesystemofsharedgovernance.
    Offeringrecreationalfurniture(hammocksandpicnictables)oncampus
    quadstogivestudentsaplacetoenjoythenaturalenvironment.
    Creatingmoreopportunitiesforstudentengagementandinvolvementwith
    Plan2020

    StudentAdvocacy
    Wecontinuouslyseesinceredevotiononourcampus.Studentsnotonlyseeaneedfor
    change,buttheyactivelyworktoimpartpositivechangebothwithinourLoyolacommunityand
    thegreaterworld.Theimportanceofstudentbasedadvocacyisintegraltofosteringglobal
    citizenswithacareforsocialresponsibility.Accordingly,wefullyintendtocontinueefforts
    whichsupportthesystemofsharedgovernance,genderequality,andmentalhealthawareness
    andresources.
    Wevowto:
    Promoteanatmosphereinspiredbygenderequality.
    Acttofurthereffortstoreducestigmaaroundmentalillnesswhile
    simultaneouslysponsoringresourcesandsupport.
    Worktowardsalternativemealplanoptionsthataremoresustainableand
    resourceful.
    Continuetheinitiativetocreateawebbasedportalforstudentfeedback

    CommittedExcellence
    AsmembersofSGLC,weferventlybelieveleadershipisneitherpositionalnornominal.
    Rather,itisalived,dailyexperiencewhichisdedicatedtopersonalandorganizationalgrowth.
    Similarly,itisoursharedvisiontoofferregularopportunitiesforservantbasedleadershipwhich
    willallowSGLCtofurtherrecommititselftoyou,foryou,andwithyou.

    Createbothformalandinformalleadershiptrainingsinconjunctionwith
    campuspartnersforthegreaterSGLCbody.
    EstablishLoyolaasaleadinguniversityinthenewlyformedNational
    JesuitStudentGovernmentAssociation.
    AdvocateforareneweduniversitycommitmenttoTheGreenInitiative
    Fund(TGIF)inadditiontocontinuinginnovativeendeavorsfocusedon
    ouruniversity'scommitmenttosustainabilityliketheFoodRecovery
    Network.
