Dear Mr. Wyatt;

We here at the EPA, try to spread awareness of the need to preserve our planet. One great
way to do this is to offer internships to college students like yourself, so that they may learn
more about our agency and continue take what they have learned hear and apply it elsewhere,
whether that be in another environmentally-conscience company or a regular company with
the environment in mind.

We are always amazed by the amount of people that apply to the internship, as we would like
to accommodate them all, but that is just not possible. We selected you for possible
admittance into the internship, which is an accomplishment in itself because many others are
not selected. However, due to recent cuts and expenditures, we will not have as robust
internship program as we have had in previous years, and we will have to cut some people that
were approved for admittance.

We regret to inform that you are one of these unfortunately selected people. We just cannot
hold the internships as we previously thought, and we really wish it was possible, but after
exhausting all possible alternatives, we simply cannot. We are very sorry to inform you of this,
but we would like to remind you that just because you were selected for admittance, did not
mean that you were guaranteed entrance into the internship. Nonetheless, we did promise
there was a chance of your admittance, and now there is none. We hope that you will continue
have the environment in your mind, and try to join us again next year, where if you apply for
another internship, we will give you top priority.

Best Regards,

Bret Martin
