different then the TB draft.

Notes Since Week 7 Depth Chart

-Placed WR Louis Murphy on injured reserve.
-To replace WR Louis Murphy I promoted DT Akeem Spence to the active roster

-OG Jeremiah Warren was released by the real TB to make room for Spence
-OG Warren was a starter on my team, to make up for his loss, I kicked in OT Cherilus Gosder to OG and
have Cameron Erving starting at RT as he is for his actual team NE
-With the loss of OG Warren I signed WR Chris Harper off of New England's practice squad. At the start
of the season he made New England's 53 so I know he has talent. That said he was demoted and NE
traded for WR Keshawn Martin at WR early in the season
-WR and OG depth depth is hurting and should show up in the stats at years end
-Two players on actual practice squads (DT Louis Trinca-Pasat StL & WR Duron Carter Ind) watched
players at the same position as them get promoted to the active 53 over them in DT Doug Worthington in
Stl and WR Quan Bray in Ind.
-OT Cameron Erving continues to start at RT for the New England Patriots who I signed to my active
roster before being promoted by NE

Separation in the two depth charts with only 1 draft besides my 2015 NFL draft picks I now have OT
Tanner Hawkinson, OT Cameron Fleming, WR Duron Carter different then the TB draft.

Notes Since Week 6 Depth Chart

-OT Isiah Battle who was taken by StL in the supplemental draft and cut at the 53 roster cut down and I
went out and 'signed' to my practice squad is an interesting case and brings up an interesting discussion.
Players I signed off other teams 53 roster cut down to my practice squad may not want to come play for
my team. They may like their position fit on the team to move to active roster, their position coach, the
location what be it. I take freedom here to sign these players. Year 1 especially it plays a factor as year 2
or year 3 the practice squad will be filled with my late round draft picks and college free agents. I will
elaborate on this predicament more in How It Works
-OT Isiah Battle received a pay increase, he is now the highest paid practice sqaudder, this is something I
can not replicate but will also not cut as I will only do that when he moves from PS to active roster
-OT Cameron Fleming was promoted to NE active roster, he was already on my active roster. This brings
up again the question would he move up to KB TB's active roster 2 weeks earlier or prefer to stay on NE
Practice Squad. A dynamic I can not build around. I will say that practice squad players traditionally will
not generate a magnificent statistical difference over 4 years. Most of the players that rotate through PS
to active will not have lasting careers. That said if OT Fleming turns in the next OT Jason Peters from
undrafted practice squadder to Pro Bowler I will have to justify if it makes sense for Fleming to be on my
team as well
-CB Bryce Callahan was promoted from the Chi PS to the active roster, not too surprising as he made the
Bears original 53 man roster so he has something they like. To make room for him OG Matthew Masifilo
was recently by TB so I followed suit leaving me weak at OG.
-To replace CB Callahan on the practice squad, I signed S Craig Loston recent released by
Jacksonville's practice squad
-LB Amarlo Herrera who I have on my practice squad rotated through the active roster for game day, he
has since been cut and yet to be resigned to their practice squad. I will keep him on my practice squad
-Starting to build OL depth with the signings of OT Hawkinson and OT Fleming to the active roster weeks
before they were promoted by others teams. Helping ease the pain I feel as a Mock GM about the depth

Separation in the two depth charts with only 1 draft besides my 2015 NFL draft picks I now have OT
Tanner Hawkinson, OT Cameron Fleming, WR Duron Carter different then the TB draft.

Notes Since Week 5 Depth Chart

-Moved OT Reid Fragel from the practice squad to the active roster to mimic TB's move. To make room
for him I demoted CB Bryce Callahan from active roster down to the practice squad where he is in the
equivalent position in Chicago
-Philadelphia a week after me went out and signed OT Tanner Hawkinson from SF Practice squad to
their active roster
Week 5 and injuries are already starting to show the separation in the depth charts with only 1 draft
besides my 2015 NFL draft picks I now have WR Duron Carter, OT Tanner Hawkinson, OT Cameron
Fleming different then the TB draft.

Notes Since Week 4 Depth Chart

-Both of us have moved on back to K Connor Barth
-When TB rotated Reid Fragel from active roster to the practice squad I released Chris Barker from mine
to make room to stash Fragel. It appears TB sees something they like in Fragel to rotate him through the
53 person roster so I will follow suit as my OL again is a major weakness.
-Two extra spot on the 53 man roster is available as TJ Fatinkun was moved to IR and I did not replace
him on the 53 with Howard Jones as TB did as well as WR Donteea Dye being moved from PS to active
roster... so I went to the practice squads around the league looking for an OL & WR prospect I like I could
steal off of someone's practice squad and move up to my active 53!
-I ended up signing OT Tanner Hawkinson from the San Francisco practice squad which is a guy I really
liked coming out of Kansas three years ago as well as WR Duron Carter from Indianapolis's practice
squad. A famous name, with a lot of hype to him. In reality a player can elect to stay on the practice
squad, they do not have to accept an offer to move up to an active roster if they like the match with the
team and pay isn't significantly more. This happened with a WR on Green Bay's practice squad a couple
years ago. I have no way to compensate for this so I do my best to not go name hunting (aka Duron
Carter) often and pick players I liked when I watched a couple years ago.
Week 5 and injuries are already starting to show the separation in the depth charts with only 1 draft
besides my 2015 NFL draft picks I now have WR Duron Carter, OT Tanner Hawkinson, OT Cameron
Fleming different then the TB draft.

Notes since September 53 person Depth Chart

-Only differences between KB team and TB actual team besides the 2015 draft picks is TB has TE
Cameron Brate and OT Reid Fragel
-Reid was brought up from TBs practice squad, I did not have him on my practice squad so I brought up

OT Cameron Erving who I signed when he was cut by the NE Patriots, I replaced him on the practice
squad with another former NE practice squad player Chris Barker
-BJ Finney was signed to Pitt practice squad recently, was happy to see him return after he recovered
from an injury suffered in camp

My 53 Person Depth Chart

2015 Draft Picks:

Overall I had 5 draft picks make the team while TB had 4 make their roster. I was helped by CB Callahan
making the Bears as an UDFA while they were hurt by WR Kenny Bell being placed on IR.
BJ Finney was cut by Pittsburgh to get to 53, presuming no other team signs him to their active roster, I
will stash him on my practice squad and hope Pittsburgh or another team stores him on their practice
squad.
Louis Trinca-Pasat was cut by StL (which has a very strong DL) to ge to ther 53, yet again I'm hoping to
store him on the practice squad until another team signs him to their active 53 roster in which case I will
have to move him up and cut someone from my current 53 man roster
Bryce Callahan, I was very excited to see made the Chicago Bears 53 as an Undrafted Free Agent
(UDFA), made the 7th round pick I invested in him seem worthwhile, though the Bears Defense does not
look very talented/deep now it is still a good sign
My CFA of LB Mike Hull, S Anthony Harris & WR Kasen WIlliams I cut from the 53 and will hope to store
on my Practice Squad as well
My 8 man practice squad had 3 slots open to sign other players cut in the move to 53 by other teams.
For the 3 players I could fit I selected to sign Laurence Gibson OT cut by the Dallas Cowboys (my team
desperately needs some OL depth) I like the Virginia Tech lineage and the Dallas OLine is very deep so
being cut by them isn't necessarily a sign of a lack of talent. OT Isiah Battle who was cut by St Louis after
being taken by StL in the supplemental draft 5th round this summer. Yet again OL help is needed and he
is a worthwhile project. Lastly, WR Evan Spencer a 7th round pick cut by Washington. He was a player I
really liked last year, offers a lot of special teams versatility, happy to stash him on the practice squad.

My 75 Person Depth Chart

I had to cut four players to get to 75, after Tampa Bay released their official cuts. My four were as follows,
WR Donteea Dye, CB Jude Adjei-Barimah, DE Ryan Delaire and one of my five 2015 College Free Agent
(CFA) signees, S Dietrick Bonner. The players I cut are players I expect to be let go in the September 5th
cut down to 53 person roster. Bonner failed to sign on with a team in the NFL so that decision was made
very easily. The 53 will be much harder, I will be releasing some draft picks and CFA and hope to stash
them on my practice squad for 2015. The players I cut but are still on TB's roster are marked by their red
font for their depth chart.
