ABSTRACT
The paper is about chemical called nicotine. It includes traits of
nicotine like the chemical makeup, chemical structure, purpose,
its origin, etc
INTRODUCTION
Nicotine was taken out from tobacco leaves in 1828. The tobacco
leave was discovered by the Native Americans and its use was for
medicine. This goes back to 2000 years ago. i

A lot of people smoke ciggarattes around the world. The
rates are very high. About 5,800,000,000,000 ciggarates
were smoked in the year 2014. The rates are still rising.
However there are countries that have strict laws about
amoking ciggarates. And those countries rate of smoke is
decreasing. Those countries are United Kingdom, Australia,
Brazil, and others. However this specific country has very high
rates of smoking and it I increasing. This country is China.
China consumes ciggarates more than all the other low and
middle income countries.

Smoking is increasing in Palestine. Rate of smoking


ciggarates in Palestinian school for students from the
age of 13 to 15 was 16.5% for refugee students and
24.4% for non refugee students. In 2009 the rate of
students who smoke was 20.0%, 2010 was 25.0%, and
in 2012 the rate was 34.7%.
