Group Project Guidelines
A.

Group Project
You will work on your project as a group. Each Group would
consist of five or six students. Each group is to select an
industry from the list given below and identify two
companies (one of the two companies should be from the
top 100 listed companies mandated by SEBI to publish
their sustainability report for the year 2014-15) from the
chosen industry for their study. No two groups will work on
the same industry. The allocation of industry will be done
on the first-come-first-served basis. You may submit your
choice of industry and names of the two companies before
12 pm, March 4, 2016 to your class representative.

your choice.

The Course Instructors acceptance of your choice of


industry and the two companies is essential before you
start working on the same.

B.

The project is to study, analyse and compare the CSR and


sustainable development activities. Make a comparative
analysis of the Sustainability Reports of the two identified
companies of your allocated industry.

ANALYSIS & RECOMMENDATIONS

You are required to study the allocated companies in detail


keeping all the learnings from the course in view. The
details of your study of the two companies would include
the following:

Your recommendations for the companies

PRESENTATION & REPORT

You are expected to participate effectively in the project


discussions and presentations. The presentations will be
held during the last two sessions of the course.
Each team is required to submit a well-written report
before the End-term Examination.
