FCRI
Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI) has been, established by
Govt. of India with techno-economic inputs from the UNITED NATIONS
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (UNDP). This institute provides R&D on flow
products, Testing and Calibration of Valves, flow meters and other
measuring instruments as per ISO requirements, Model approval Tests,
software for design and selection of flow meters/valves and specialised
training programmes.
FCRI provides services like Calibration, Testing, Certification,
Software Development etc. related with the R&Ds. This institute has
various facilities like Water flow lab, Oil flow lab, Air flow lab, Physical
standards lab, Electro technical lab, Material testing lab etc.
During this training, I have gained much knowledge in calibration
of process instruments and various industrial standards for process
measurements.

I have completed B.E in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. Currently I'm

working in Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd ( a SPIC group of
companies). I'm working for this organisation from November 2010 till present.
My designation is Maintenance Engineer in Instrumentation.
