THE CLOSURE THREAT CONNELLY HOUSE, GERALD STREET AND BEECH STREET All three of these highly rated establishments are suspected to close-apparently delayed until after the election and in my opinion the final solution by the Labour Party is closure. My outrage that these specialised facilities for people suffering from dementia in South Tyneside, are at the moment receiving outstanding care by staff carers, and should never be subjected to threats of closure.
