skills/volcanoes’vocabulary/arts’skill
Procedure:

1. Pre-computer:

a) Review the weather vocabulary with the class.


b) Teach the parts of the volcano by using a picture of it.
c) Teach how a volcano erupts.

2. Online:

a) Direct learners to the website and tell them to read carefully:


- What is a volcano?
- Why do volcanoes erupt?
- Volcano safety tips

3. Post-computer

a) Speaking activity: a learner asks a question to the rest of the


classmates about some information that has been read and
another child must answer it. This step must be repeated five
times.
b) Arts activity: the teacher makes groups of for children in order
to do a volcano experiment. She/he hands out a bottle of coke
and a roll of mint Mentos and gives the instructions to the
learners to do the experiment.
