January 4, 2016 Monday, this is our first observation in this year 2016 at Itlugan
Elementary School. I arrived around 6 oclock in the morning.
I helped students of Grade IV to clean their assigned areas and I, together with my
Field study classmate also helped to clean the ground.
Its almost 8 oclock in the morning when the class was started and their first class
is English. Mrs. Rosalinda Contreras. Before discussing the topic, she asked her student about
their Christmas vacation and how they celebrated it with their family. Then she discussed about
the letter, its parts and how to make it properly.
Their next class Science, Mrs. Lennie De Mesa, she conducted a review about
their previous topic which is static electricity. Then asked her student to write their reviewer for
their periodical test.
Then the following subjects also have a review for the preparation for their third
periodical test.
My cooperating teacher asked me to have a one on one conversation to me and we
talked about the demonstration. She gave me some ideas and advice and showed her PELC and
lesson plan. As my assignment she gave me a task that I will make a draft of my lesson plan and
this will be submitted on the day that we are conducting an observation.
Even if this day is very tiring, I learned a lot of things with my cooperating
teacher that I know will help me to improve and to be better prepared.
