of Kindness Week

(February 14-20,
2016)

Week of Kindness Team Activities by Day

Day 1: Be KIND - INSPIRE
Distribute hearts with aBe KIND message. Write a message/quote on a
piece of paper to tape tothe door of each classroom in school.
Day 2: Be KIND to NATURE
Pick the garbage in a park, a public space, around a lake, along a river etc.
Day 3: Be KIND to elderly people
Talk/Listen to an elderly person, help him/her do the shopping, with chores
around the house.
Day 4: Be KIND to a CLASSMATE
Help a classmate that struggles with a subject, task, assignment or needs
help
with
anything. Or simply make a classmate in your class feel
special that day (give him/her a
present, write a gratitude letter etc.)
Day 5: Be KIND toa FREIND
Make your friend feel special.
Day 6: Be KIND to your PARENTS
Make your parents' day special by cooking, cleaning, writing messages (on
the
mirror, textmessages)that would make them feel good
Day 7: Be KIND to EVERYBODY
Hug day. Greet the students and teachers at shool by smiling,giving them
a hug or a handshake. End the kindness day just saying hi and smiling to
random
people you meet.
