Excellent instruction is less about what a teacher does and more about what students can
do and know as a result of a lesson.
August 4, 2015, this our first day to observe in the month of August . After the flag ceremony, the class started. After several hours, there is a visitor who came at Itlugan Elementary School. They visit this school to observe different facilities and all the classroom together with the Principal Mrs. Belen E. Reyes, Ed.d. Students are warmly welcome them with a smile. Mrs. Nora Santoyo continued her class in science. I got amazed because this school has complete human turso that would help student to learn about the topic most specially in science which can be an advantage for the student to see the real look of different body system by the use of Human turso and experiments. Their next class was conducted by Mrs. Lyzel Alday and discussed her lesson. She is always prepared on her discussion and she always have a power point presentation for the student to come up with. Next class was conducted by Mrs. Nora Santoyo their adviser and also my cooperating teacher. As usual, before discussing she has a motivation for the student as an introduction to her lesson. The flow of her discussion are very ordered and worth adopting. After student took their lunch, the class started which is mathematics. The teacher asked her student to copy and answer the problem as a review on their previous lesson. Their second to the last subject is EPP and their teacher is Mrs. Remedios Adelantar and she discussed plants and characteristics of animals. Their last subject is Makabayan and that day become a great day where student acquired knowledge effectively. As the august started, it is also a start of acquiring more knowledge and skills from the worth adopting teaching strategies of my Cooperating Teacher and teachers of Itlugan Elementary School as a preparation to my chosen profession.
