-Prep, Scan, and Index charts
-Observe the orientation of a new Physician Assistant hire
-Observe the use of the Cancer Registry
-Gain education on The Joint Commissions requirements for chart documentation
-Observe Medical Billing processes
-Assist in the Release of Records process
-Observe Central Scheduling processes
-Observe the inpatient coding process
-Code outpatient labs and X-rays
-Observe Patient Registration activities
-Use multiple computer programs, such as Wellness Connection, M2, Winscribe, and
MIDAS
