Hee Youn Kim

I like to see it lap the Miles-


And rip the Valleys up-
And stop and feed itself at ponds-
And then – sly step

Around a Pile of Mountains-


And graceful peer
In forests – by the sides of Trails-
And then a Hut pare

To fit its Ribs


And crawl between
Groaning all the while
In horrid - hooting stanza-
The chase itself down Hill-

And roar like Boanerges-


Then – punctual as a Star
Stop – docile and omnipotent
As its own stable door-
