The sender made a LPT port programmer to program an ATmega162 microcontroller but is receiving errors when trying to erase or access security bits. They have checked the resistor values on the port and opened the BIOS settings but the errors persist. They are asking for help to resolve the issue as USB programmers are not easily accessible.

i made a lpt port for programming ( as shown in the diagram)
i am attaching the images of lpt port cable i made. the resistances on the lpt port as measured on the digital meter are MOSI = 487 OHM MISO = 500 OHM SCK = 473 OHM RESET = 483 OHM but i used a (330 ohm resistances ) i connected the vag com obdii pin 16 to +12 V and pin 4 to GND (as shown in images) i connected the lpt port ground to pcb ground as shown in images. Now when i open pony prog 2000 I select the "Avr ISP I/O" Probe TEST is OK Calibration is OK Selected the chip to ATmega 162 but when i try to ERASE or try to open Configuration & Security Bits (LOCKS & FUSES) it gives me "DEVICE MISSING OR UNKNOWN DEVICE (-24) error. I tried to open the LPT BIOS Settings it shows STANDARD MODE
I have also tried to use 1k ohm resistances.
but the result is same. Please help me, what should i do next. It is very difficult to find a USB AVR programmer
