He wants to meet face
-to-face to talk things
over, but Cheryl has
mixed feelings shes
torn and doesnt know
what to do. Part of her
is desperate to talk to

but the other half isnt
sure if they can make it

Her marriage has been under
scrutiny since November,
when reports blamed Cheryls
language barrier with her
French husband, as well as
hisjealously, for their split.
Over Christmas JB, 34, was
thought to be in Miami without
his wife and earlier this month,
X Factor warm-up man, Ian
Royce, labelled JB abusive,
Tweeting: Not a nice man.
Abusive, fame hungry and I wish
Id knocked him out backstage.
A source says: JBs spent the
past two months with family
and friends trying to get his head
together and now hes ready to
talk to Cheryl. He regrets not
coming back from Miami to try
to talk to her before Christmas
and how rapidly it all went
downhill from there.

NOTICEABLY ABSENT

Following a whirlwind sixmonth relationship, Cheryl

married JB in the Caribbean in
2014. That year, he was by her
side almost every week for the
XFactor live shows.
But last year there was a
distinct change, and he was
noticeably absent from the
show. Pals say Cheryl is longing
for the man JB initially was.
A source says: She says she
wouldnt consider taking him
back as the relationship was,
but if JB changed back to the
guy she first met and fell in love
with the one who adored her
then she would take him back in
aheartbeat. She just wants the
man she fell in love with back but she doesnt know if that can
ever happen.
Sources add that despite her
heartache, Cheryl is determined

to focus on her music career,

and has some exciting projects
in the pipeline including a
fashion collaboration with
amajor name.
As Closer previously reported,
Cheryl was planning a trip to
LA to work on her music and
have some time out. Now pals
say her first husband, Ashley
Cole, 35 who was married
to Cheryl for four years before
they split in 2010 amid reports
of his repeated infidelity has
been in touch asking to meet
there as friends.

they have been sporadically in
touch with each other over the
years, with Ashley texting Cheryl

A source says: Ashley has
invited her to meet up as friends
if they happen to be in LA at the
same time. Cheryl is undecided
about what to do it would of
course only be as friends but
there is so much painful history
between them shes not sure if it
would be a good idea.
Shes happy that Ashley is to
become a dad, but its also tough
for her as she always felt shed
be a mum herself by now. For
now, shes trying to get her head
straight and work things out.

Colehas been mixing with the A-list.
Last week, the 35-year-old was
snapped out with actor Jamie Foxx and
insiders say the star is doing all he can
to up his profile and hang out with more
stars. Asource says: Ashley and David
Beckhams mums are still good friends
from when they played for England and
David called Ashley and has put him in
touch with pals Gordon Ramsay and
James Corden.
As David played for LA Galaxy he was

only too happy to help. He knows what its

like to be in a new country and not know
anyone. Robbie Williams has also invited
Ashley to join him for his weekly game of
football he plays with other Brits there.
Friends say Cheryl who regularly
visits LA and has formed friendships with
Khloe Kardashian, Will.i.am and Rihanna
is impressed by his new connections.
A source says: When they were
together he preferred being with other
footballers and wasnt into the showbiz
world. Cheryl is impressed hes making
such an effort.
