collaboration, and coaching tools to K-12schools and teachers. The Edmodo network enables
teachers to share content, distribute quizzes, assignments, and manage communication with
students, colleagues, and parents.
How can the tool be used by the teacher: The teacher can post assignments, deadlines,
answer questions, update students with things, share resources.
How can the tool be used by the student: Students can ask the teacher or other students
questions, as well as answer them. Students can also share resources with other and complete
assignments given by the teachers.
Some advantages of using the tool: Edmodo is a form of quick communication for students
and teachers to use outside of the classroom. It is also works as a feed so everything students
need is in one virtual place.

encourage students in class, and easily communicate with parents. Teachers can sign up for
free, and invite students and parents anytime.
How the tool can be used by the teacher: Class Dojo is another interactive site for teachers to
use to be able to connect with students. It can also be used as a form of communication for teachers and
parents as well. Within this site teachers can add students to their class, transfer students from one class
to another, take attendance, rate their behavior with descriptions, collaborate with other teachers and so
much more.
How tool can be used by student: Students can check in as attendance, earn points by doing tasks,
and compete in friendly competitions on the site.
Some advantages of using the tool: This site promotes classroom participation and helps students
gain more technical skills.It is easy to use and once you teach the children to use it they can become
very active on the site. It is ideal for younger children, ClassDojo is a simpler version of Edmodo.

able to use. Teachers can also make their own custom textbook for their students to use.
How tool can be used by student: Students can practice assigned math and science problems, take
quizzes and tests and use online textbooks for more information or help with the subjects. Students can
also use their teacher's custom textbook to study and practice exactly what they need to know for their
class.
Some advantages of using the tool: This site allows students to be able to do work literally
anywhere they can access the site. It keeps students from having to keep up with thick math and
science packets, everything they need can be compacted into one place online. Math and science tend
to be harder subjects but the virtual practice makes learning more engaging and the interaction helps
students better learn the skills.

focuses on group interaction and collabaration.
How the tool can be used by the teacher: On Wiggio, teachers can create groups. On the thread(s)
you can post statuses, links, files, to do lists, polls and events. This is ideal in older classrooms (6-12).
Teachers can organize their groups into folders and there is also a calendar tab so teachers can keep up
with dates, deadlines and etc. as well as post them for students to be able to view.
How tool can be used by student: Students post on threads, interact with their teacher as well as the
other students in their groups. This site allows students to be able to keep up dates via the calendar tab.
Some advantages of using the tool: This site is very ideal for group interaction and organization.
Within the site, participants can set up virtual meetings as well, which is a great feature for today's
society.

copying so it is easy to send home to parents. This site also makes work easy to show to parents so
parents can see the growth and improvement of their child.
How tool can be used by student: Students can capture and self-report the things they have learned.
Students can also showcase their work through three ring as well as get descriptive feedback on their
presentations and performances.
Some advantages of using the tool: Three Rings makes it easy to keep students' work in one place.
Teachers, students and parents can collaborate to keep up with the student's progress and view feedback
on their assignments. Three Ring allows students to be able to access their work online anywhere for
whatever reason they might have.
