TORONTO, ONT October 13, 2015 The new winter-friendly iPhone will be available
for purchase in Canada Dec 2, 2015. The new phones promise reliability and durability
during harsh Canadian winters, so that Canadians can stay online even when the weather
drops to frost-bite conditions.
Weve been working very hard to meet the demands of Canadians, and we were
getting a lot of complaints that our earlier products just werent standing up to the
conditions of Canadian winters. The new technology can last in conditions as low as
-40C for over three hours without shutting off. says Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple. Its a
step towards providing technology based on the needs of specific regions, as well as a
step towards technology that will help keep people safe.
The new iPhone comes with a range of new features specifically designed for
Canadian winters. New Apps like Safe Roads shows roads that have been plowed
already, as well as where accidents have occurred due to weather conditions, with regular
updates using satellite technology.
