Library Scavenger Hunt
1)The last actual king of Scotland was James VI. He was born on June 19th, 1566 in Edinburgh
Castle. He was crowned on July 29th, 1567.
I found this in Encyclopdia Britannica section titled Kings and Queens of Scotland after I
searched Kings of Scotland in the ArticlesPlus tool.
2) Werner Heisenberg discovered the concept of Quantum Physics. He published his discovery in
November 1925.
He also created a theory detailing the atomic nucleus which was published in 1932.
The book Beyond Uncertainty : Heisenberg, Quantum Physics, and The Bomb by David C
Cassidy discusses both of these discoveries.

I searched Werner Karl Heisenburg in the Encyclopdia Britannica.


3) Satyendra Nath Bose is an Indian Physicist. The Higgs Boson is named after him. The book
The Road to Discovery : Detector Alignment, Electron Identification, Particle Misidentification,
WW Physics, and the Discovery of the Higgs Boson by John Alison which discusses this topic.
I found Boses description in the Encyclopdia Britannica. I then found the book by searching
Boson in the Articles Plus tool.
4) Religion and loyalty supporting each other, or, A rational account how the loyal addressors
maintaining the lineal descent of the Crown, is very consistent with their affection to the
established Protestant religion is a book by Thomas Comber published in 1681.
The causes of the decay of Christian piety, or, An impartial survey of the ruines of Christian
religion, undermin'd by unchristian practice is a book by Richard Allestree in 1667.
Primitive Christianity: or, The religion of the ancient Christians in the first ages of the Gospel
is a book by William Cave in 1675.
Using the advanced Articles Plus tool, I searched religion in the language English between
1660 and 1689.

5) Lutwig Ritter Von Kchel is an Austrian composer. He is largely associated with Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart because he compiled Mozarts work.
Some works by Mozart are:
Litaniae de venerabili altaris sacramento which was a piece for the church.
Idomeneo, r di Creta which is an opera.
Le Mariage de Figaro which is a comedic opera.
I researched both men within the Encyclopdia Britannica.
