Resumen

The mobile phone is with us everywhere even more so than our other personal possessions. It is
more common to leave your wallet at home than the phone. Having this device that is constantly at
hand, there is constant and increasing demand to bring new functionality into mobile devices, identity
solutions being one of them.

Using the phone as a driver license, identity card, loyalty card, use cases are nearly endless, is a very
tempting vision that would really make the phone a multiuse personal device. This seminar discusses
the pros and cons of mobile identities, the new possibilities that mobile identity brings and how such a
mobile identity system could be constructed.
