What is Poverty and Vulnerability ?

Poverty is the state of being poor or lack of
providing needs or comforts.
Vulnerability is being physically or emotionally
hurt or wounded.

How did Jesus treat the poor ?

Jesus treated the poor with kindness and love. He
had mercy on them and better their conditions.
Jesus fed the hungry and healed the sick
He changed the hopeless situations to hopeful
situations.

What I did
In my service work at Christian Outreach in
Action, I helped to serve the hungry with warm
meals, arranged donated clothes, shoes and
furniture, gave them clothes or shoes for those
who dont have, cleaned the lunch area, and
washed dishes.

Organization to the poor and vulnerable

Shelter the homeless
Providing spirited support to emotionally weak
Heal the sick
Teach them necessary skills to reach and sustain
self-sufficiency

How has your service changed my

views or future choices ?
Seeing people in poverty and are vulnerable that
need help
It motivates me to work hard and help more
people
