What is Fair Trade?


It is about better prices, decent working
conditions and fair terms of trade for
farmers and workers.

The underlying foundation of the concept of


fair trade is that a free market-based
system does not always produce
sustainable livelihoods for the farmers and
other members of the global food chain.
