RESEARCH AN OCCUPATION PROJECT

Students will write a short paper on a possible future occupation. Requirements include:

Proper header in the upper right hand corner

Typed in Times New Roman (12 font)
2 pages double spaced (no more please)
Include references used on separate bibliography pate (i.e. websites, other sources)

What to include in paper:

Describe the duties involved in the occupation.

Education required (i.e. High School, Associates, Bachelors, Masters Degrees).
Math classes required to receive degree.
What schools could you see yourself applying to and why?
How much math is used on the job, include examples.
Starting salary along with details on how to increase salary.
After researching this occupation, explain whether or not you see yourself pursuing this field of
interest in the future.

Grading:
Students will be graded on focus, organization, support, content, grammar, and spelling.
The project will be worth a total of 20 points.
