Youth Education on Drugs & Alcohol

YEDA and the Toronto District School Board have teamed up to help
bring education about the risks of drugs and alcohol to families and youth in
need of support. There are two programs. The first is available in a number of
middle schools during the day for students ages 10-14 that are interested in
improving their knowledge on the subject of drug and alcohol use/abuse. The
second is for families and youth who want to learn together in a fun and
interactive way about these topics and to gain the proper skills and strategies
in order to approach and handle potential drug or alcohol abuse issues, while
still attempting to maintain a strong connection within their family. This program
is available after school and TTC transportation can be provided for those who
