ADECCO CANADA LAUNCHES NEW SYRIAN REFUGEE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
Hamilton, Ont. March 22, 2016 Adecco Canada has launched a new employment program
for new Syrian refugees seeking asylum in Canada. The program, called Canadian Horizons will
help to employ anywhere from 1,500 2,500 refugees alone, the income from these postings
would help to support thousands of Syrian families. The program comes in response to the
Syrian refugee crisis and the displacement of Syrian families due to ISIS attacks in the Middle
East.

Adecco Canadas public relations director Jake Gerard says that this program will help to boost
the Canadian economy, while also making an impact on the integration of Syrian refugee
families into Canadian society. Gerard said We saw a clear demand and obvious opportunity to
work with these people. They are new to our country, and part of welcoming and integrating
them is to help them to find permanent employment.

Our company has always been committed to the long term success of our clients, said John
Statton, Adeccos manager of employment programs. Helping a group of people in a
transitioning stage fits in very well with who we are, and what we believe in.

Adecco has been working been offering temporary and permanent employment since 1996.
This will be the company`s first venture into a refugee-specific work program. We continue to
explore and innovate in our industry in order to have a positive impact on employees
