What I have learnt was the implications of the humanist approach.
Firstly, learning should be personalized. Everyone’s personality is different. Their intelligence is also. Secondly, making choice is important. Thirdly, empathize the learners is important for teachers. I’ve also learnt that humanism includes some teaching methodologies like silent way, suggestopedia, CLL, multiple intelligence, and participatory.
I suppose I need to focus on reading to understand the readings that I
read. And also I need to strengthen my memory as I have problems retrieving information from my mind.
I believe I may use in these information my teaching because it
considers the learners feelings. In humanism, teachers treat students as a whole person. And I want to take their emotions into consideration. Humanism also attaches importance the environment where learning takes place. It should be relaxing and also it should be away from criticism.
