In a steam engine the clearance volume is 5% of the swept volume and back pressure is 1.15 bar. If
compression is at 0.3 of the stroke, find the pressure at the end of the compression stroke. Find also the mean
effective pressure is 13.7 bar and cutoff occurs at 40% of the stroke.
