i. To discuss the gender related issues in the college in light of the viral post last December, as
well as the recent cancellation of Lady Med

f. Library hours end at 6pm.
i. There is a conflict between the librarian and the administration. The librarian, Sir Ver, at
Medicine Library is supposed to work form 9am-6pm. When the library hours were extended,
he was supposed to stay until 9pm (extra 3 hours) and he would be paid over time for those
hours. But, administration found out that for the past months, Sir Ver does not actually
overtime like he was supposed to. Instead, he goes from 12pm-9pm, instead of 9am-9pm. So
he doesnt overtime; he works the same number of hours. Administration refuses to pay him
for these faux overtime. Sir Ver is now angry and refuses to go to work, much less overtime.
ii. This is an administration problem. MSC is caught in the middle.
g. RSA Workshop: Moved to April 1
i. We are not aected by the RSA, because we have our own RSOP.
ii. CPHSC is asking help in their campaign to amend RSA.
iii. CPH RSA is unfair. Ours is a terminal course, but we still have many options after graduation.
CPH graduates are forced to become public health associates or go to UPCM. If they do not
pick these options, they must pay. There was also very little orientation before they signed the
RSA.

iv. The rationale of CPH administration is that there is a need for public health workers, and that
gap has to be filled. Majority of PH graduates go straight into med school instead of working
in the field, and thats what administration feels they need.

1. Attended a meeting last Friday with Dr. Tristan, the OSA Director
2. Resolutions reached (although USC is handling this):
a. Have free room usage for all spaces (auditorium, Paz Men, Buenafe) during oce
hours. If after oce hours, all we have to pay for is electricity. Currently, we have to
pay for space and electricity.
b. If ever there is extra money, thats what we use to pay for electricity.
c. Streamline the reservation process from three days to one (hopefully).
b. Mentoring Sessions
i. Send proposal letters to Dr. Alvin Marcelo
ii. Meeting them this coming Monday to see if this activity will push through
c. UPCM Sta Appreciation Day (with PD)

ii. Partnering with Dr. Salome Vios, because they also have a sta development seminar
planned, with a short lunch or merienda sponsored by administration.
iii. Pledges are possibly the UP Fight shirts, but also possibly a new shirt. The idea is Buy 1,
Pledge 1, or just Pledge 1.
