Book or Movie Analysis
Analyze a movie/book that demonstrates the essential questions and
standards for this unit. Create a visual/written project that shows your
understanding of the concepts in this unit.
Requirements (Choose 2):

Give an example of fire (from the movie/book) and identify the 3


requirements for the fire used in the book/movie. Explain why each
component is important as it pertains to the fire triangle. Is it glowing
or spontaneous combustion?
Identify and describe or illustrate the 3 mechanisms of heat
transfer displayed in the book/movie. Explain why.
Identify and describe or illustrate the telltale signs of an
accelerant-initiated fire in the book/movie, and explain why they
could not be ruled accidental.
Describe or illustrate how the evidence was collected, found, and
analyzed at the scene of the arson or bombing in the book or
movie.
Describe or illustrate the type of explosive used in the book or movie
and identify its classification.
