: Oh! Hello!I was just remembering a story I heard a few days ago. I dont
suppose youd like to hear it? Its quite interesting. There is excitement,
humor,
and a great ending. Yes, Ill think Ill tell you, its a story worth
remembering. It
happened in a village not far from here. A family is being
visited by one of their
relatives.
[Ma looks out from the window, gasping]

: Abdul threw himself down in Papas chair and began to help himself with the
food on the table.

[Abdul walks towards Papas armchair and fell asleep]

Narrator
: Greedy cousin Abdul slept for a long time when suddenly a delicious smell woke
him up. Abdul went to the table and gobbled up half of the dinner while others
just watched sadly. When he had gone, the family held a meeting, planning on
how to get rid of cousin Abdul. They thought for a long time when suddenly.

ACT TWO
[In the kitchen]

Mama
: The very next day, Mama went to the market. She bought a whole packet of
chilli padi. I am sure you know that chilli padi is the hottest chili you can find in
the whole wide world. When she arrived home, she started to cook a very hot
curry. It was so hot that the children sneezed all morning.
: Achooo! Achooo! Ma, what is that you are cooking? My nose starts to hurt.
: A super special hot curry for your Uncle Abdul. Now go and collect some red
ants at the orchard and scattered them on your fathers armchair.
ACT THREE
[In the living room]
Narrator
Abdul
: Fida went to the orchard and collect the fiercest red ants lived. They put the red
ants into a glass jar and scattered them on Fathers armchair. On the stroke of
twelve, cousin Abdul appeared.
: Hello everyone! I am here again. Wow! What is this smell? Mmmmm! Curry! I
LOVE curry!
[Abdul sits on the chair, takes a huge mouthful. Abdul shouts and jumps around]
Abdul
: Oooh! Aaah! Ooh! Aah! This is hot! My mouth is on fire. I must sit down and
rest.

[Abdul runs out of the house]

: Down the road he went and he has never ever been seen since. From that day,
the greedy Cousin Abdul never visited that house again.
