    underlyingbarbaricness.Whatismore,theMongolswouldexecutetheirownsoldiersforacts
    ofnoncomplianceorcowardice,asisalsorevealedbyMr.Carpini(Document2).

    ,thelegacyoftheMongolsisoneofsufferingandtortureandalthoughthey
    wereorganizedandworkedhardatadvancedmilitarystructure,theyleftbehindtoomuchpain
    anddeathnottobecalledbarbaric.Certainly,weighingtheamountthatagroupisbarbaricis
    essentialtotodaythroughthepressweareexposedtomanybarbaricactivitiessuchas

    kidnappings,massmurdersinschools,andevendecapitationsandtorturingbysomeradical
    groups.
