position with Landmark High School. I supervised Fraser during his time with the Southwest
Conservation Corps in 2010; and I believe he would provide an immediate and positive impact
for the youth and the school.
The mission of the Southwest Conservation Corps is Empowering individuals to positively
impact their lives, their communities and the environment. Fraser embodied this mission
through his leadership and passion to impact the lives of our youth participants. As a crew leader,
Fraser was responsible for the safety and well-being of youth, ages 12-18, while also motivating
them to complete service-learning and work projects on public lands. Fraser also led 2 of our
four-week intensive camping programs, working and living together with a group of 8 very
diverse youth. Through the challenges he was presented, Fraser showed his ability to provide
compassion and empathy while also providing discipline when needed.
