Felicia asked specific questions to check for understanding
Students then excitedly participated in a review quiz using
Kahoot! At their own pace, students answered ten question
were aligned with the lesson. Students were given immedi
feedback about each question, and Felicia was provided a
that indicated how many correct and incorrect answers we
given for each multiple choice item. Felicia stated after the
lesson that Mr. Boyer stopped Kahoot! when several stude
incorrectly answered a question, and he retaught the infor
students missed. If she were to redo this lesson, she would
the same and also involve the entire class when checking
understanding during her PowerPoint. After students return
their Chromebooks, Felicia passed out a sheet that require
to decode several messages and also create their own
hieroglyphic message. Students shared with a partner whe
done.
