THE AIM OF EDUCATION: FAITH VS CITIZENSHIP

If we talk about education overall in this world whether it is public

institution or Islamic institution surely has a goal in the end. However in this
case I would like to elaborate on the aim of Islamic education which is faith
versus citizenship. As our god creates us and all mankind in the universe
certainly has the goals which are to worship to him only not others and to be
a servant for betterment of human being on the earth.
The similar with it, in the field of education when stakeholders build up
an institution or school for students they already have decided the aims
which are specific or general, in the long time or short time. All those aims
are made in order to achieve a success or benefits for its students when they
finish their study at their school. There are many aims of education for each
institution and it is certainly different on each other.
One of the aims of education and it is a part of main point is to
inculcate the faith to our god and it is put in the number first from several
aims in the institution of education. In the other word, all stakeholders of
institutions want to all students to be the best person who means obeying all
commands and prohibitions from his creator and his prophet. Not only that
but they also follow the regulation or instruction in their School, finally they
will be successful in the world and in the hereafter.
Opposite of the faith is citizenship, in my opinion it is indeed not
opposite (faith versus citizenship) but it is a aim of education as well. Why it
happens and to be as a aims because automatically when stakeholder of
education make the policy and its outcome to be a good and pious student
who do the goodness whenever. It is such as a comparison between citizen
and goverment in the nation which has goals in order all the citizen follow all
the regulation that the live in it.
