Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany was born in 1859. His upbringing was strict and authoritarian. He first studied at the Kassel Gymnasium, then at the University of Bonn. He became Leader of Germany in 1888 after his father died. He was the last German Emperor and King of Prussia. He was also the eldest grandchild of Queen Victoria. He was a friend of Franz Ferdinand, so when he got assassinated, Wilhelm II decided to help Austria-Hungary defeat the Black Hand Gang. The Russian Orthodox Church later made him and his family Saints in 1981.

Ireland King George V was born in 1865, and after a short education at home, he joined the Royal Navy when he was 12, but left to become king. He was king during World War 1 and changed his family name to Windsor to remove any association with Germany, as Germany was very unpopular at the time. He died in 1986
